Pricing
The cookie banner is a capability of the same Agreely platform, available to every account and billed separately. It was born inside the Law 25 platform: same account, same login, same verifiable proof. But it has its own price, independent of any plan: a plan does not unlock banner sites, and you can just as well use the banner on its own, without the rest of the platform. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), billed annually and shown as a monthly equivalent. No rebates: the price shown is the price paid.
What is a load?
A load is counted each time a page loads and the Agreely script runs to apply the visitor's choice, whether or not the banner is displayed. In practice, this number is close to your page view count.
A capability of every Agreely account, billed separately
The banner is not part of a plan's price: it has its own pricing, the same for every account, whatever Law 25 plan you hold (or none).

Every Agreely account gets one free site (the Discovery tier), served in Agreely's colors with the "Powered by Agreely" mention. Each additional site, or any site in your brand, is $15/month per site. The per-site price is flat: no multi-site discount, no matter how many sites. The paid tier is also what unlocks your own branding: the free banner stays in Agreely's colors. (The visitor-facing "Customize" button for consent choices exists on every tier.)
Subscribing to a Law 25 plan does not change this price: the plan and the banner are paid for independently. They live on the same platform and complement each other, but each has its own invoice.
Load caps are soft: exceeding one triggers an invitation to move to the paid tier or add a site, but the banner never goes dark and never silently falls back to essential-only mode. On cancellation, the banner switches to essential-only mode to inform visitors honestly (never silent tracker allowance).
Buy, create, assign: three distinct steps
Banner billing follows three separate steps, on three different screens. This split avoids any surprise: creating a site never triggers a payment.
- Buy places (in Billing). Under Settings > Billing, you buy a number of paid places. This is the only place you pay: buying a place creates no site and assigns nothing, it simply adds paid capacity to your account. The payment step (Stripe) happens only here.
- Create a site (on the Dashboard). Under Cookie banner (cookies), click New website. A site is always created on the free Discovery tier. If you have already reached your free capacity and no paid place is available, creation is blocked with a message inviting you to buy a place in Billing first: there is never an inline Stripe checkout on the site-creation screen.
- Assign a place (in the site settings). Under your site > Settings, you assign an already-purchased paid place to that site (it then switches to your colors, without the Agreely credit) or you downgrade it back to the free tier to free the place. Assigning costs nothing extra: it is the purchase, at step 1, that was already billed.
In short: you buy capacity in Billing, you create sites on the Dashboard, you assign places in Settings. Every account always keeps at least one free site (the Discovery tier).
New billing model. This three-step split (buy / create / assign) replaces the old flow where "adding a site went straight to checkout". There is no longer a payment at the moment you create a site.
Banner-only signup
You can subscribe to the cookie banner without activating the rest of the
Agreely platform (consent management, API, SDK). Sign up directly at
agreely.ca/signup?product=cookies, starting on the Discovery (free) tier.
After email verification, you land directly on New website to configure your
first banner, free of charge.
The core platform features (catalog, consent requests, SDK, CLI) remain available if you want to use them later, without changing account.
